Types of Scholarships

We offer the following scholarships to deserving students

Merit-Based Scholarships

Awarded to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance in their previous exams.

Need-Based Scholarships

Designed for students who require financial support to continue their education, based on their financial background.

Government Scholarships

Available to students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBC) as per government guidelines.

Sports Scholarships

Provided to students who have excelled in sports and represent the college at inter-collegiate or state-level competitions.

Corporate Scholarships

Offered by our corporate partners for students who meet the eligibility criteria set by the respective organizations.

Special Scholarships

Scholarships for students from specific backgrounds, such as differently-abled students, daughters of armed forces personnel, etc.

Bihar Student 
Credit Card (BSCC) Scheme

Your degree shouldn't come with debt! The BSCC Scheme offers 
zero-interest loans to GDPC students, making engineering education affordable and accessible.

Eligibility Criteria for BSCC

Under the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, eligible students pursuing technical education at GDPC can avail interest-free loans up to ₹4 lakh to cover all educational expenses including tuition fees, hostel accommodation, books, and living costs. 

  • Must be a resident of Bihar
  • Should have passed the 10th or 12th standard
  • Must have secured admission to a recognized institution
  • Age should not exceed 25 years

Educational Loans

In addition to scholarships and BSCC, we also assist students in obtaining educational loans from banks and financial institutions with flexible repayment options.

  • Visit a designated bank for an educational loan
  • Submit loan application with required documents
  • Bank verification and approval process
  • Upon approval, loan is disbursed
Important Documents Required
  • 10th or 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Income certificate (for need-based scholarships and BSCC)
  • Caste certificate (for government scholarships)
  • Admission letter from the college
  • Bank statements of the last six months
  • Sports achievement certificates (for sports scholarships)
  • Any other documents as specified by the provider
